How to use this guide

This guide is intended to help students working with clients in the Small Business Clinic to find business information for small business application. This guide includes four sections:

  • Reference Books lists digital and print encyclopedias, handbooks, and dictionaries pertinent to small business available in D'Amour Library. These types of books may be useful for quick facts, statistics, understanding disciplinary terminology, and establishing historical and theoretical background knowledge.

  • Books and Media contains helpful hints for searching WILDPAC, the online library catalog, for books and videos on business in both digital and print formats.

  • Article Databases lists and describes various databases for finding journal articles. Some of the databases contain general articles on many subjects, while some are more subject specific.

  • Recommended Websites lists specialized academic search portals, state and federal government websites, and more freely available websites handy for business research.


    Subject Guide
