Streaming Video

Commercial streaming services such as Netflix, Apple TV, and more are great options. Additionally, there are free or low cost streaming services available such as:

• Tubi
• Pluto
• Internet Archive
• YouTube
• PBS Video
• Library of Congress
• National Film Board of Canada
• Europeana
• Ted Talks

Some of these services include ads that play before or during the video. 

Faculty may place a copy of a DVD on Course Reserve for students to use in the library. Library computers can play DVDs.

If the library already owns the DVD, we can pull it from our collection and place it on reserve for you. If we do not, faculty are welcome to leave their own copy on reserve and pick it up at the end of the semester. Interlibrary loan items may not be placed on reserve. 

D'Amour Library offers Interlibrary Loan services. Physical Media such as DVDs are sometimes available through this service and those DVDs can be shown in class.
