WNE faculty may recommend books for the library to purchase that have ongoing relevance to course or curricular needs. All purchases are at the discretion of the Library, and requests will be reviewed for relevance, cost, availability, and accessibility.
While the library does purchase textbooks, it is not always economically feasible due to the high costs set by publishers. When considering textbooks for Course Reserve, faculty are asked to temporarily provide either their own copies or desk copies from publishers whenever possible.
D'Amour Library does not accept donations of books or media.
