Computers, Technology & Printing

Learn about how you can print, scan or use a computer at D'Amour.

Computers

  • There are over 100 desktop computers distributed throughout the Library. 
  • Only current students, faculty and staff may use library computers. A username and password is required.
  • Mac computers are available on the first floor and in G26.
  • Many computers include specialty software such as SAP, SPSS, Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut Pro, Respondus Monitor, Morningstar Direct, R, Eclipse IDE and more -- check with a Librarian if you are trying to locate a particular program.
  • All users must comply with the University's Acceptable Use Policy.

Printing

  • Only current students, faculty and staff may print. 
  • Black and white and color printing are both available at the Ricoh printers. 
  • For help printing or to download printer software for your personal device, visit the FollowMe Print website. 
  • The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, U.S. Code) governs the making of photocopies, prints or other reproductions of copyrighted material. The person using this equipment is responsible for any infringement.

Scanning & Copying

Scanning and copying may be done from the Ricoh printers. Additionally, the library offers specialty scanning options:

ScanCenter

  • Overhead scanner for books, documents and images.
  • Scan to PDF, searchable PDF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF and MP3.
  • Scan directly to your WNE Microsoft 365 account.
  • Located on the first floor.

Flatbed Scanners

  • Flatbed scanners are located on the first and second floors.
  • Learn how to scan using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro
