Our weekly programs have returned, and we can't wait to see everyone! The schedule for the semester is below:
Crochet with Deb Beagle, Mondays 4-5PM: Open to beginners and experienced crocheters alike, join us in the Clarke Reading Room at D'Amour Library weekly every Monday from 4-5PM to learn new skills, perfect your craft, meet fellow yarn workers! Material provided to borrow during the program.
Silent Reading Book Club with Maxine Girard, Tuesdays 4-5PM: The best thing about Silent Reading Book Club is that you get to read whatever you want! Bring your own reading material (book, ebook, audiobook, textbook, etc.) or borrow a library book. We will read quietly for the first 45 minutes and the last 15 minutes are for conversation or continued reading.
Craft in the Clarke with Bridget Kennedy, Wednesdays 4-5PM: Join us weekly on Wednesdays from 4-5pm for a new craft every week in the Clarke Reading Room at D'Amour Library! Open to crafters of all abilities, all material provided. Crafts this semester may include Perler beads, sand art, painting, collage, and more!
Mindful Planning with Carrie Evans, *NEW TIME* Mondays 12-1PM beginning September 8: Do you love to be organized? Are you a big fan of To Do lists and planner stickers? Join us for our weekly Mindful Planning workshops, where participants take some time to plan for the week ahead and learn to balance busy days with moments of peaceful meditation. Bring your planner, paper or digital, stickers, guided activity sheets, & more provided! Weekly on Mondays from 12-1 in the Clarke Reading Room at D'Amour Library.
First Generation Student Meetup, First Tuesday of every month from 1-2PM: Are you (and/or your siblings) the first generation in your family to attend a 4 year college? Meet other first gen students, staff, and faculty at our monthly meetings in the Clarke Reading Room, 1-2pm the first Tuesday of every month! Ask questions, learn to navigate the college experience, and get connected to on campus resources available to guide you through your next four years!
